Below is the report of Ridus about this epic flop, followed by the reactions of Russian netizens.

Chancellor of Germany Angela Merkel failed the school geography test. She couldn’t correctly locate on the map her native city of Hamburg.

Merkel came to a meeting with students and their parents in one of international schools. During the demonstration lesson, the children were asked to find on the map their home towns. A similar task was given to the Chancellor.

Firstly, she decided to find on the contour map the location of Berlin, but couldn’t deal with the task. Instead of the capital of Germany she pointed  to the territory of Russia. The teacher noticed the mistake and corrected Angela Merkel.
