The video below is destined to become a hit in RuNet (Russian internet). In it an anonymous Russian taxi driver makes a one minute long speech about the infamous Dima Yakovlev bill, according to which Americans won’t be allowed to adopt Russian children.
Please, be warned that the video is heavily spiced with profane language.
Comments of Russian netizens
Петр Петров: That’s a f**king masterpiece! это, блять, шедевр!
[Note: The last comment can be interpreted in the light of 2 events. 1) About one month ago the United Russia deputy Ilya Kostunov said - "The stupidest Duma deputy is smarter than the average citizen." 2) In the recent TV program the journalist Vladimir Posner, talking about the Dima Yakovlev bill mistakenly (?) called the Russian parliament "State Dura" instead of "State Duma" (which is translated as "State Idiot")]
Yan Inoy: Voice of the people!глас народный!
Илья Пархоменко: All essence of the Magnitsky act and Dima Yakovlev bill in one minute.Вся суть закона Магнитского и закона Димы Яковлева в одной минуте.
Adam Bereg: People understand everything..)народ все понимает..)
[Note: "Brother 2" is a popular Russian movie, two scenes of which feature rude and outspoken taxi drivers - one in Russia and another in the USA]

Russia is not a totalitarian country after all. In China, such crazy rant would have been erased by Internet Police long before anyone had a chance to comment upon. Chinese still have plenty to catch up on the Big Brother.
Give them time, they just haven’t figured out how to do it quickly and effectively yet. They will, and America isn’t lagging too far behind either.
Agreed. That is one of the reasons why Russia is so interesting to watch.
Our Chinese internet police is much more “professional” than others.
Well, people in the western world think that Chinese people are brain-washed and dare not to talk even if we can. Can’t we?
Regarding the driver’s fabulous speech, I have to admit that it’s the first time that I find such language can be so exciting.
No doubt.
In China the whole YouTube is on the other side of the Great Firewall :)
There was an old saying in the US, that “Its a shame that all the people who know how to run the country, are busy driving cabs in New York.”
I am sure that it’s all true and even worse
That taxi driver is an idiot and typical of the type. They yak their heads off, while taking a longer route so they can charge a higher fare.
For those who want to understand the reasons behind the Dima Yakovlev Bill and what it really is about, rather than hear some fat zhopa’d parasite masturbate verbally, have a look at this commentary about what it does and the American sleaziness that lead to it:
