Road Rage of the Moscow City Parliament Member Properly Punished

The incident depicted in this video immediately became the most discussed topic on Russian internet and has been aired by a number of TV channels.

Description of the incident

Here is the description of the incident given by the uploader of the original video (which later was blocked by YouTube due to some mysterious copyright claims).

October 24, 2012 – Moscow

The driver of Toyota Sequoia decided to overtake my UAZ and blatantly switched to a lawn (!) on my right. However, he miscalculated his maneuver and caused an accident.

After that the Toyota driver went out and approached my car. He was knocking on the window and trying to open my car’s door. I immediately started calling the traffic police.

After that the Toyota driver returned to his car, took from it a knife, uncovered it and ran back to my door.

Since I am afraid of weapons, I had to leave the accident scene… albeit through the wide open door of Toyota.

Then I immediately contacted the police. Investigation is in the process.

Meanwhile, the aggressive driver appeared to be an employee of the Moscow City Government.

I have watched enough videos about all kind of freaks; here you drive with your wife and son and some scumbag goes out with bat or knife, need somehow to defend yourself. Я себе на всякий случай под водительское сиденье топор положил.
