Though Gosha the goose didn’t get the chance to fly with Vladimir Putin, he also experienced the flight in hang-glider
The recent stunt of Vladimir Putin, in which he led the flight of Siberian cranes, was widely publicized in Russia and abroad.
It gave birth to many jokes in Russian media and internet. Some bloggers, for example, noted that not all birds followed the president. This remark was candidly rebuffed by Putin who claimed that only “weak” birds didn’t follow him. He also challenged others to try themselves and repeat his flight.
Few days ago two residents of Krasnoyarsk answered the challenge. While Putin’s sky mission was called “The Flight of Hope”, Dmitriy and Stepan produced “The Dream of Flight” taking into sky three flightless birds: Fiona the hen, Gosha the goose and Innokentiy the turkey.
