Tomsk traffic police fined a 23-years-old girl, who on February 28 stripped to bikini and ran down the main street of the city.

Police learned about the incident on March 4, while monitoring the internet sites. In one of them they found a video in which a young woman in swimsuit was running in the middle of the road between the honking cars.

- The same day we found the drivers from the video, contacted them and identified the girl. It turned out that the race took place on February 28. The girl has been punished already: for the traffic violation she paid a fine of 200 rubles [ed: about six-and-a-half USD]. Of course, that’s a small amount. But this actually may negatively affect her future career: for example, the girl won’t be able to get a job in law enforcement body or the court, – said police employee Dmitry Amelin.

He added that the 23-year-old runner admitted her fault and promised that this will not happen again. However, police could not find out the exact reason behind her stunt.

Note: from the comments to the video itself it is clear that Alina Borodina (that is the girl’s name) lost some bet. Nature of the bet is not disclosed.
