The Russian organization of victims of illegal political repressions has published the series of social prints “Stalin – he was like …“, whose mission is to give today’s youth the explanation about the past events in an easy to understand [and relate to] language.

Everyone will be found.

On July 2 1937 Stalin signed the resolution “About Anti-Soviet elements” initiating the immediate search, arrest and execution of the most active “kulaks (rich peasants) and criminals” in the span of 5 days. This document laid the ground of the Great Terror or “Yezhovshchina” – the period of massive repressions and political persecution of people not favored by the Soviet leadership.

Stalin memes Foursquare

Stalin – he is like Foursquare: showed to everyone his place.

The sentences were usually carried out by shot in the [back of the] head. Revolvers, TT-33 pistols and Degtyaryov machine guns had been used. The corpses were buried in trenches dug in advance.

iposmotri:  Creative [people; elements] with each passing year become more creative. 75 years, of course, is not the time to forget, but probably also not worth to make jokes …

[Note:  In Russian internet the word "creative" often carries a negative connotation, referring to people who for the sake of PR perform creative but insensitive (and even vulgar) acts ]

android_o:  The form is dubious, the content – exactly as should be [ed: very good].

kofitabaco:  Stalin – he is exactly as it should be, the thieves were sitting in prisons and not in Kremlin.

Mick:  No matter how much they try to denigrate Stalin – they don’t succeed. And they will not succeed. Too insignificant are those who try to do it.

yummy_anja:  That’s some bullshit! Young people associate Facebook, Twitter, Youtube and others with exclusively positive things. And the facts that are written in small print will be noticed and appreciated by very few people.

quaks_:  I think there will be reverse effect from this idea)))

phyzalia:  Stalin is the “rock” in our history. I won’t clog my head with the  number of repressions and percentage of sentences: all these things are in internet.

The fact is that in the row of Soviet (Russian) politicians, Stalin is the leader. The next, in my opinion – Brezhnev. The subsequent so-called “politicians” from Gorby to Putler are stinky parody of the leader and patriot of Russia ..

[Note: Gorby - Gorbachev, Putler - Putin (word derived from Putin and Hitler)]

cassandra84:  For today’s children who grew up with internet – [these are] ideal posters!
