It’s very common for politicians to break their promises.
But Pyotr Yurchishin - the Ukrainian candidate from Vinnytsia Oblast – can be “proud” for setting a shameful precedent in the history of relationships between politicians and their voters.
Translated from LB.ua:
In the electoral district number 13 (Vinnytsia region) the losing candidate destroyed the road which he had built during the election campaign.
The businessman Pyotr Yurchishin was building roads in the village Rybchintsy.
In the local elections he received only 15.4% of the votes losing to Nikolai Katerinchuk (64.34%).
After learning the results of elections, he ordered the workers to destroy with graders everything that has been built. Now, instead of the road there is a plowed field in Rybchintsy.
Besides owning land in the region, Yurchishin runs a creamery and has a network of pharmacies. Accordingly, through the regulation of milk price he has a great impact on the villagers. After losing, he also threatened the villagers to start buying milk at lower prices.

That’s pretty vindictive…. Quite an amazing story of a politician doing it all for the wrong reasons. *nod*
