That’s the excerpt from the Ukrainian entertainment show “Durnev+1″.
The concept of this show is not new – presenter asks passersby various questions from the school program. As often is the case, many people can’t answer even the most simple questions.
In one of the latest issues people were asked a question from history – “What is Holocaust?”. The teaser of this program went viral on Russian internet.

Its truly amazing what those street ‘reporters’ can capture in a sound bite by just asking random questions. Normally in the USA it seems the comments are more damning for the person answering the question, not sarcasm, but straight up hatred and loathing for stupidity.
In the US this kind of thing happens constantly, people don’t know who the current president is most times. Its shameful the amount of ignorance you can find on the street. But yeah, this turning around and having such hate filled comments is quite a bit worse than the ignorance of not knowing something that important.
Those comments are a lot more scary than some dumb kid not knowing what the Holocaust was. Celebrating the holocaust is an insult to anyone who fought against Fascism, like his t-shirt model Che Guevera and probably this kids great-grandparents. When Russians act anti-semitic, they are taking a big steaming dump on the graves of the millions of Soviet citizens who died to prevent a fascist victory. There is no more dishonest, lower pursuit than holocaust denial because the facts are all clearly out in the open.
